Dr. La Tasha Brown

With extensive experience across higher education in the United States, the Caribbean, and the United Kingdom, I bring a global perspective to my work. I am dedicated to helping lifelong learners develop intercultural skills that contribute to a more equitable and connected global society.

Education

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, to Jamaican parents, Dr. Brown is a highly accomplished leader in higher education. She has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Comparative Cultural Studies from The University of Warwick in Coventry, England, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in African New World Studies (now African and African Diaspora Studies) with a concentration in Cultural Studies from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History with a minor in English Literature from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.
